UAE Visa Medical Fitness Test

UAE's Visa Medical Fitness Test is a mandatory examination required by the UAE government for individuals applying for residency visas. It ensures that the applicant meets the health standards set by the authorities.

It is applicable to all expatriates 18 years and older, intending to live or work in the UAE. Children below the age of 18 do not need to go for Medical Fitness Test in order to get their residency visa.

You will undergo an assessment by a doctor, have a simple blood test, and a chest x-ray. For visa renewals, chest x-ray is not applicable. Applicants are screened for communicable diseases, including hepatitis, HIV, leprosy, syphilis and tuberculosis.
